Washington D.C. - In a chilling move, the North American Construction Association (NACA) announced yesterday that it is considering a permanent ban on gingers from all construction sites across the continent due to widespread fears that they may be "soul-less."
Rumors have long circulated among construction workers that gingers were somehow "skipped" by a God during fetal development, leaving them devoid of a soul. This eerie suspicion has sparked rampant paranoia on job sites.
"We've all heard the whispers – gingers are like empty vessels, mere flesh and blood without a spirit," said NACA spokesperson Bob Johnson. "It's unsettling to work alongside someone who gets burned by the sun in the first 15 minutes of the day..."
PERMANENT BAN ON GINGERS? Construction workers have come forward with terrifying tales of gingers exhibiting unnatural behavior – from eerie calmness in chaotic situations to an uncanny ability to consume spicy food without flinching. Veteran construction supervisor, Mike Reynolds, shared his hardened philosophy:
"I have 2 rules on the job site, Never trust the new hire with someone else's life, and never, ever hire a ginger. That's like inviting one of those copper goblins to oversee the copper pipe installation on a new skyscraper project. Ridiculous! My grandfather taught me that, his father taught him – it's a wisdom passed down through generations of builders. Gingers might look like workers, but they're wild cards, unpredictable and soulless, probably would hire a copper goblin of a ginger. Reynolds' words echoed throughout the industry, with many nodding in silent agreement.
In a shocking theological assessment, Reverend John Taylor likened gingers to:
"That annoying feeling you get when you step on gum and it just won't come off your shoes – a stubborn, unwanted presence." He elaborated, "It's as if gingers are proof that some people shouldn't have mated. Freckles are considered a curse in some African cultures, so let's just roll with that – gingers are barely people."
Gingers are outraged but this writer didn't really want to talk with them but I overhead a small group claiming their community possesses souls "most likely." They denounced the construction ban proposal as blatant discrimination. However, the controversy has sparked a national debate – should the ginger ban extend to other industries like Child care, online affiliate marketing or perhaps all public jobs?
As Americans weigh in, one thing is clear – the ginger debate has stuck like gum on our collective consciousness.
